Opening Hours

Reception opening hours: 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm


Check-in : Check-in is from 3.00 pm until 8.00 pm.

Would you like to arrive earlier?

We offer an early check-in service (for an additional charge), to speed up the housekeeping process and give you priority access to your room. Contact us to reserve it.

Will you be arriving after 8.00 pm ?

Don’t worry. Please just let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements. After 8.00 pm, the booking will be treated as a late cancellation – a no-show.

 

Check-out time: from 7.00 am to 11.00 am.

You will pay on arrival and your invoice will be sent to you by email, so there is no paperwork to complete when you leave. You are free to leave whenever you like. Check-out is quick.

 

Luggage storage:

You can leave your luggage at reception throughout the morning, until midday. You can also leave it there in the afternoon if you have a train in the early evening.

PARK NEAR THE HOTEL

Parking lot

La Rochelle is a city on a human scale, ideal for exploring on foot or by bike.

 

The Old Port is surrounded by car parks (no booking required), and they are all the same distance from the hotel. Once you’ve parked your car, you can walk everywhere from the hotel. We are close to everything.

 

Car parking

We recommend parking at the PARKING VIEUX PORT OUEST for a spectacular arrival between the two towers. Park there and then walk to the hotel; we’re opposite the towers on the Vieux Port. The Vieux Port Ouest public car park is just 700 metres from the hotel (not available during the Francofolies festival)

 

Another option is the secure underground public car park at Place Verdun, also 700 m from the hotel.

Or Parking Vieux Port Sud. 

 

Cycle parking

Certified “Accueil Vélo” since 2017, the hotel is situated between two sections of the Vélodyssée cycle route: Les Sables d’Ollones – La Rochelle – Royan. The cycle path runs right beneath our windows.

We have secure… and free parking spaces for your bikes in an underground car park near the hotel. Access badges for the cycle parking are available upon reservation and subject to availability.

NO LIFT

Accessibility

Hôtel La Marine is housed in a listed building of character, spread over three floors with no lift – an architectural constraint that we cannot alter, but which we fully accept.


Our team will be happy to help you carry your luggage upstairs. However, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guests with reduced mobility in suitable conditions, and we prefer to be honest with you about this.
