La Rochelle's Francofolies music festival (10-14 july)

The legendary Francophone music festival is back for its 42nd edition, and this year’s line-up is exceptional. Orelsan, Gims, Aya Nakamura, Mika, Zaz, Youssou Ndour… Five days and five nights of concerts across several stages, including a free open-air stage just a five-minute walk from the hotel. Every summer, the Saint-Jean d’Acre esplanade is transformed into an open-air stage overlooking the sea. Book your tickets well in advance – some dates are already sold out.

La Dimancherie : May – September. On some Sundays from 5 pm

The open-air electronic music festival that has won over the people of La Rochelle and anyone passing through on a summer Sunday; house and tech-house on the Gabut esplanade. Completely free and committed to bringing people together, the team behind La Dimancherie puts as much care into its line-up as it does into its values. An evening that starts outdoors and often ends very late.

La Belle du Gabut (April – October 2026) during the day and into the evening

The Old Port’s cultural and culinary open-air café is back for a new season. Concerts, DJ sets, food trucks, and a sunny terrace overlooking the Saint Nicolas Tower. La Belle du Gabut is the place where the whole town gathers as soon as the weather permits; to have a drink, enjoy some good food, have a bit of a dance or just sit and watch the harbour come to life. Free, open to everyone, and the programme always has a pleasant surprise in store.
